PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fan which maintains functions of a normal electric fan having a swinging motion mechanism etc. and takes air from an area near a floor surface to efficiently perform air-conditioning.SOLUTION: An electric fan 10 includes: a motor which rotates a blower fan 16; and a support pillar 40 supporting the motor. The electric fan 10 includes: an auxiliary fan 18 attached to a position of a rotary shaft 14 of the motor, which is located between the blower fan 16 and the motor, and configured to rotate with the blower fan 16; and a housing (a second housing 24) which houses the auxiliary fan 18 with the blower fan 16 exposed, the housing in which an internal space 32 is provided at the air intake side of the auxiliary fan 18 and the exhaust side of the auxiliary fan 18 is opened. The support pillar 40 has a hollow structure including a duct 44. Air intake ports 52 communicating with the duct 44 are provided below the support pillar 40. The housing and the support pillar 40 are connected by a flexible pipeline 56. The pipeline 56 allows the internal space 32 and the duct 44 to communicate with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
