PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive application mechanism which can evenly apply an adhesive on a surface of a solid lubricant.SOLUTION: An adhesive application mechanism for applying an adhesive on an outer circumference surface of a solid lubricant fixed in a plurality of holes of a sliding member main body includes: an adhesive applying part which has a hollow cylindrical shape in which the solid lubricant can pass with a predetermined clearance and has a recessed part as an adhesive reservoir on an inner diameter surface of the hollow cylinder; a solid lubricant drive part which supplies the solid lubricant to an opening of a rear end of the adhesive applying part and discharges the solid lubricant from an opening of a tip end of the adhesive applying part; and an adhesive supply part which supplies the adhesive to the recessed part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
