PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decoration for ornamental mirror-shaped rice cakes, a decorative structure simply composed and easily made for ornamental purpose, yet it servers as an improved decoration with the front primary pattern (for example, a graphic display like a votive horse tablet) carved in relief on a plate.SOLUTION: The decoration for ornamental mirror-shaped rice cakes are made by: providing a window 8 on a folded-down plate 5 on which a background pattern 7 is prepared; making a depth background pattern 9 on the back plate part 4 which is seen from the front through the window 8; superimposing a front plate part 6 on the front side of the folded-down plate 5, with the upper edge of this front plate part 6 made to situate in the middle height of the folded-down plate 5 and, with the upper edge made to protrude inside the window 8 in a manner covering a part of the window 8 from the front; forming the upper edge of the front plate part 6 protruding in the window 8 into a pattern-forming edge part 10; and providing the front primary pattern 11 in the upper part of the front plate part 6 including the pattern-forming edge part 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
