PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and innovative downstream injector configuration that avoids impacting annulus cooling.SOLUTION: A downstream nozzle for use in a combustor that includes: an inner radial wall 24 defining a combustion zone at a downstream side of a primary nozzle; and an outer radial wall 25 surrounding the inner radial wall so as to form a flow annulus 28 therebetween is provided. The downstream nozzle 45 may include: an injector tube extending between the outer radial wall and the inner radial wall; and a first plenum located adjacent to the injector tube and including a ceiling part and a floor part disposed at the inner side of the ceiling part and between the inner radial wall and the outer radial wall. A feed passage may connect the first plenum to an inlet formed at the outer side of the outer radial wall, and impingement ports may be formed penetrating through the floor part of the first plenum.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
