PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant extract effective as a kinesin inhibitor, a novel and simple method for production of the inhibitor, and a pharmaceutical composition, a food product composition and a cosmetic composition comprising the kinesin inhibitor as an active ingredient.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a kinesin inhibitor obtained by extraction from a dried product of an above-ground part of Thymus serpyllum L. using 50% ethanol aqueous solution as an extraction solvent, and a method for producing the inhibitor. There are also provided a pharmaceutical composition, a food product composition and a cosmetic composition comprising the kinesin inhibitor.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
