a durable assembly including an energy supply; and a disposable assembly including a medicament reservoir; wherein the durable assembly and the disposable assembly are configured to be attached to one another in such a manner that energy needed to dispense medicament from the medicament reservoir is supplied by the energy supply and transferred from the durable assembly to the disposable assembly without direct mechanical coupling or electrical connection.
