Disclosed is an isolated antibody or antibody fragment thereof which binds to Repulsive Guidance Molecule a (“RGMa”), wherein the antibody or antibody fragment comprises a variable heavy chain comprising: a complementarity determining region (CDR)1 comprising the amino acid sequence SHGIS, a CDR2 comprising the amino acid sequence WISPYSGNTNYAQKLQG, and a CDR3 comprising the amino acid sequence VGSGPYYYMDV and a variable light chain comprising a CDR1 comprising the amino acid sequence TGTSSSVGDSIYVS, a CDR2 comprising the amino acid sequence DVTKRPS, and a CDR3 comprising the amino acid sequence CSYAGTDTL, wherein the sequences are as defined in the complete specification. Also disclosed is the use of said antibodies in the treatment and diagnosis of neurite degenerative diseases and disorders. |
