The present invention relates to a machine for automatically separating and cutting leaf stems of parboiled edible plants, wherein the machine automates the conventional manual operations of separating and cutting leaf stems of edible plants in a complete enumeration manner. The edible plants are grown to an edible size in nature, collected, parboiled in hot water, and dehydrated, and then, the resultant raw materials in a coagulated lump state are automatically separated and cut. More specifically, when the edible plants are grown to an edible size in nature, all the ground portion, in which various species are mixed with foreign materials, and all the one-cut area, are collected together at once, parboiled in hot water, and dehydrated; and then the resultant raw materials are firstly put into a raw material standby container; and when an input device passes a predetermined amount of raw materials to a separation pole, the separation pole, which vibrates frontwards, backwards, upwards, and downwards, separates and advances stalks and leaves to drop the stalks and leaves on a conveyor belt. Here, men at the left and right sides hang the separated leaves on loop movement chains downwards, of which ends are bent to facilitate hanging, face upwards and outwards, and are combined at predetermined intervals. The seasonal leaf stems having tough fibers with unfavorable texture pass through a preliminary cutter to leave the tough fibers, and the left cells are preliminarily cut into preliminarily cut pieces, and then completely cut by cutter No. 1. In addition, the leaf stems having no tough fibers are directly cut by cutter No. 2, and thus, edible leaves and non-edible leaves are automatically separated. This leads to a fast processing rate and a predetermined productivity, thereby improving marketability of leaves and leaf stems as food. |
