PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent penetration of a foreign matter, while suppressing leakage of electromagnetic waves from a transmission antenna to the outside.SOLUTION: A power transmission device (100) includes a transmission antenna (102) for radiating electromagnetic waves toward a power reception antenna (202) facing the transmission antenna while spaced apart therefrom, and shielding parts (111, 112) constituted to include a shielding member (112) covering at least a part under the transmission antenna, and suppressing leakage of electromagnetic waves to outside by covering at least a part of the periphery of the transmission antenna. At least during a partial period when the electromagnetic waves are not radiated from the transmission antenna, the shielding member moves to a position not covering at least a part under the transmission antenna.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
