The invention relates to medicine, in particular, to devices for introduction of contraceptive accessories. In particular, the invention can be used for introduction of intrauterine contraception means (ICM). A device is provided for introducting ICM, comprising a tube for arranging ICM therein and a plunger arranged inside the tube adapted to axial displacement of the tube and plunger relative to each other, the device is further provided with a intrauterine contraception means retainer made as a projection or a cavity on a lateral side of the plunger distal end. The device provides enhancement of the device operation excluding the risk of thread break during tightening and also has a simpler design by not using a device for thread fixation.
