PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding roller excellent in swelling resistance to a lipophilic compound, which is hardly swollen even used in an electrophotographic apparatus using low-melting-point tonner, in an electrophotographic apparatus for performing printing on a non-carbon paper, and in a conveying device using organic solvent system ink or organic solvent system coating material, suppressing variation in paper feeding amounts and preventing conveyance failures such as paper jamming.SOLUTION: The paper feeding roller comprises: a shaft as a center shaft; and an elastic layer covering the outer periphery of the shaft, which is formed of thermosetting polyurethane obtained by reaction of polyester polyol, which has an alkylene group having 2-5 carbons on a main chain which may be substituted with a methyl group in a repeating unit, where methylene groups not adjacent can be substituted with oxygen to form ether, with polyisocyanate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
