Provided are a surge suppression and electric spark elimination structure of a power connection device. Disposed between an input end (A) and an output end (B) of a power connection device (10) are a first electrical contact (12), a second electrical contact (13), a conductive movable switch arm at a disconnect point (20), and at least one RC circuit (30). When the power supply is turned on, the movable switch arm moves from the disconnect point (11) into electrical contact with the first electrical contact, and simultaneously allows the circuit of the power connection device to conduct, and suppresses via an RC circuit a surge generated when a power supply is turned on; the movable switch arm moves to the second electrical contact after a time delay, and simultaneously electrically contacts the first electrical contact and the second electrical contact; when the power supply is turned off, the movable switch arm moves from the second electrical contact to the first electrical contact, and eliminates via the RC circuit an electric spark generated when the power supply is turned off, then the movable switch arm moves to the disconnect point after a time delay, and breaks the connection between the power connection device and the power supply. The structure not only effectively suppresses and eliminates the surge generated when the power supply is turned on and the electric spark generated when the power supply is turned off, but also has a simple structure, low manufacturing cost, and wide scope of application. |
