The present invention is applicable in the field of Internet television. Provided are a method and device for combining a DVB live broadcast and a network on-demand broadcast, the method comprising: receiving a broadcast instruction comprising program information, the broadcast instruction being a DVB live broadcast instruction or a network on-demand broadcast instruction; when the play instruction is the DVB live broadcast instruction, sending the DVB live broadcast instruction and the program information to a conditional receiver, such that the conditional receiver returns video data; when the play instruction is the network on-demand broadcast instruction, sending the network on-demand broadcast instruction and the program information to an OTT server, such that the OTT server returns video data; playing the video data returned by the conditional receiver or the video data returned by the OTT server. An embodiment of the present invention obtains DVB live broadcast video data through the conditional receiver, and obtains a network resource by connecting to a third-party server at the same time, thus achieving unified management of the combined functions of the DVB live broadcast and the network on-demand broadcast. |
