A method performed at a user equipment of requesting resource from a network node within a wireless network for transmitting uplink data, the uplink data being data that is to be transmitted as a direct communication directly between the user equipment and user equipment within at least one of a plurality of groups of user equipment of which the user equipment is a member. The method comprises: generating a status report the status report providing an indication of an amount of the uplink data and an indication of at least one group to which the uplink data is to be transmitted; transmitting an indication of a priority of the at least one group towards the network node; and transmitting the status report towards the network node.
