PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pupil position detection method, device, and computer program product with which the positions of pupils can be accurately detected to achieve accurate target tracking.SOLUTION: A pupil position detection method includes acquiring a pupil image before acquiring the contour of the pupil from the pupil image; acquiring an elliptical feature on the basis of curvature information on the contour of the pupil; and determining the direction of line of sight on the basis of the elliptical feature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
