Provided is an output power control device that is inexpensive and has a simple configuration in which miniaturization and weight reduction can be realized. The output power control device is provided with the following: an amplifier that amplifies an input signal on the basis of a control signal inputted to a gain control terminal; a detector circuit that detects output from the amplifier and outputs the same as a detection signal; and a control circuit that includes a Zener diode that receives as input the detection signal, and if the detected voltage is less than a Zener voltage of the Zener diode, the control circuit reduces the control signal according to the magnitude of the detection signal and outputs the control signal, and if the detection signal is greater than the Zener voltage, the control circuit outputs the control signal of a prescribed minimum value. |
