This electromagnetic contact apparatus comprises a polarized electromagnet (2), a mobile contactor carrier mounted on a first mobile iron core plate (10a) and whereon a mobile contactor can be fitted, a case covering the mobile contactor carrier and whereon a fixed contactor can be fitted, and a rear case that is connected to the case and houses the polarized electromagnet (2). A coil bobbin (9) has on the top surface thereof a first engagement protrusion, and the case has a second engagement protrusion facing the first engagement protrusion while being spaced therefrom by a clearance of a preset distance in a state where the mobile contactor carrier is fitted on the first mobile iron core plate (10a).
