The invention relates to an eyeglass frame (1) with an eyeglass front (2) and an eyeglass arm (3a, 3b) which is connected to the eyeglass front (2) via a pivot joint connection. The eyeglass front (2) contains a joint element (12a, 12b) via which the eyeglass arm (3a, 3b) is hinged to the eyeglass front (2) such that the eyeglass arm (3a, 3b) can be pivoted on a pivot plane relative to the eyeglass front (2) between a closed position and an open position. The joint element (12a, 12b) forms a slot-shaped receiving area (4), which is parallel to the pivot plane of the eyeglass arm (3a, 3b), and further contains a through-opening (10), which run transversely to the slot-shaped receiving area (4) and opens into said receiving area. The eyeglass frame additionally contains an axle element (13) which is mounted in the through-opening (10), and the eyeglass arm (3a, 3b) contains a limb (5) with an end portion (7) which can be inserted into the slot-shaped receiving area (4). The end portion (7) interacts with the axle element (13) such that the limb (5) is mounted in the slot-shaped receiving area (4) in a pivotal manner about a geometric pivot axis D1 and is secured in a pulling direction (Z) oriented from the joint element (12a, 12b) to the free end of the eyeglass arm (3a, 3b) so as to be prevented from being pulled out of the slot-shaped receiving area (4). |
