A method by a user equipment is disclosed for decoding data from a network node in a telecommunications system. The methodincludes determining whether a discovery signal wasreceived from the network node by detecting of another signal received from the network node, which may bea Primary Synchronization Signal (PSS) and/or a Secondary Synchronization Signal(SSS). Based on detecting that theanother signalwas received, the method includes determining whether a grant is present based onprocessing an Evolved Physical Downlink Control CHannel, ePDCCH. Based on determining that a grant is present, the method includes decoding a Physical Downlink Shared Channel, PDSCH,using the ePDCCHand the discovery signal. |
