The present invention relates to a device to set a route in a navigation device, and a control method for the same. The device to set the route in the navigation device comprises: a wire and wireless communication unit to connect and communicate with a portable terminal; a GPS coordinate memory unit storing coordinate information of a coordinate group, and a picture included in the coordinate group; a picture memory unit storing the picture corresponding to the coordinate information stored in the GPS coordinate memory unit; and a control unit individually storing the coordinate group and the picture in the GPS coordinate memory unit and the picture memory unit by generating the coordinate group based on a map data stored in a map storing unit after extracting the coordinate information by searching the picture stored in the portable terminal by the wire and wireless communication unit, and setting a destination by setting priority of the coordinate group and displaying the picture corresponding to the coordinate group on a display unit. The present invention provides the device to set the route in the navigation device which recommends a destination by setting a priority based on the coordinate information included with the picture by searching the picture stored in the portable terminal of a user and setting a route, and the control method for the same. |
