A drug supply body for supplying an elongated solid drug and having: a drug accommodating portion which accommodates the drug, and in the base of which is formed a drug discharge opening for discharging the drug; a drug conveying section which is provided inside the drug accommodating portion and is rotatable about an axis that intersects with the base of the drug accommodating portion, the drug conveying section having a plurality of drug accommodating spaces, each for accommodating one upright drug, arranged about the axis with gaps therebetween in the circumferential direction, and the drug conveying section conveying the drugs accommodated in the drug accommodating spaces to the drug discharge opening by rotating the drug conveying section about the axis; and a drug entry prevention section which is provided to the drug accommodating portion and is flexible, and which prevents the drugs from entering into the drug accommodation spaces by covering above the drug accommodation space matching with the drug discharge opening. Barrier portions are provided between each of the adjacent drug accommodation spaces in the circumferential direction about the axis and divide the adjacent drug accommodation spaces. The upper surface of the part of each barrier portion that is deviated rearwards in the direction of rotation of the drug conveying section has a shape that rises along the direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the drug conveying section. |
