PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an error even when a problem occurs in address control due to a failure of a memory.SOLUTION: An error detection device 10 includes a write data conversion unit 13, a read data conversion unit 16, and an error determination code checking unit 17. The write data conversion unit 13 adds to data an error determination code to which a different error detection rule is applied in association with an address in a memory 11; and writes the data at the address. The read data conversion unit 16 reads the data from the memory 11. The error determination code checking unit 17 determines the presence/absence of an error by using the error determination code added to the data which has been read by the read data conversion unit 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
