PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve a thermoelectric property of an organic thermoelectric material, such as PEDOT:PSS.SOLUTION: An organic thermoelectric material comprises a charge transfer complex. In the charge transfer complex, dielectric particles are introduced between a conductive part and a dopant part, which decreases the carrier concentration of the organic thermoelectric material, and increases its mobility thereby suppressing the decline in electric conductivity and increasing a Seebeck coefficient. The dielectric particles are introduced while impregnating the organic thermoelectric material manufactured with a precursor solution and forming the dielectric particles in situ. Hence, the thermoelectric property of an organic thermoelectric material can be enhanced even by the simple process of introducing dielectric particles into an organic thermoelectric material manufactured according to a conventional method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
