PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting module capable of preventing a peripheral edge from becoming dark as if the lighting module looks trimmed.SOLUTION: A lighting module 1 comprises: a light guide plate 20 having an end surface 21 and a first principal surface 23; an LED light source 30 which is arranged along the end surface 21 and on which light is incident from the end surface 21; a diffuser panel 50 having a light incident surface 55 which is disposed near the first principal surface 23 of the light guide plate 20 and on which the light emitted from the first principal surface 23 is incident, and a light emission surface 56 from which the light incident on the light incident surface 55 is emitted; a frame 40 which is disposed along the end surface 21 and to which the LED light source 30 is attached; and light shield sections 42 and 43 extending from the frame 40 to the light guide plate 20 and disposed so as to put the light guide plate 20 therebetween. The diffuser plate 50 has a protruding part protruding to the light guide plate 20, provided at a position at which the protruding part faces at least a peripheral edge portion near the end surface 21 along which the LED light source 30 is arranged out of the peripheral edge portion of the first principal surface 23 of the light guide plate 20, and having the light incident surface 52 on which the light emitted from the peripheral portions is incident.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
