At least one of the electronic device and external audio device is configured with a sensor, and the method comprises: the electronic device receives a detection result signal transmitted by the sensor, the detection result signal carrying a detection value obtained via detection by the sensor; the electronic device determines a user action with respect to the electronic device or external audio devices according to a preset corresponding relationship and the detection value; the electronic device controls the execution status of an audio/video application program according to the action.
