PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent one audio mode from being switched to another audio mode against a user's intention at a time of canceling a mute state in a steering switch apparatus configured so that one switch is allocated to audio mode switchover and mute switchover.SOLUTION: A steering switch apparatus 10 comprises: a switch 15 that is provided in a steering wheel 11; and a processing unit 13 that outputs one of a mode switch signal for indicating switchover of audio modes and a mute switch signal for indicating switchover between a mute state and a mute cancellation state when the switch 15 is turned on. The processing unit 13 outputs the mute switch signal when time for which the switch 15 is turned on, i.e., ON-time is longer than predetermined determination time in a mute cancellation state, and outputs only the mute switch signal output of the mode switch signal and the mute switch signal irrespective of the length of the ON-time in the mute state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
