PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a candidate for an error occurrence place.SOLUTION: A design support device 100 identifies a corresponding data path 110 and clock path 120 in a design object circuit. Next, the design support device 100 identifies the degree of dependence corresponding to each cell 111, 112, 113 on the data path 110, and the degree of dependence corresponding to each cell 121, 122 on the clock path 120 on the basis of dependent information. The design support device 100 detects a partial circuit including the data path 110 and the clock path 120 as a candidate for an error occurrence place on the basis of the identified degree of dependence corresponding to each cell on the data path 110 and the identified degree of independence corresponding to each cell on the clock path 120.
