PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector having simple construction and being convenient and suitable for a self-propelled vacuum cleaner, and a self-propelled vacuum cleaner including the dust collector.SOLUTION: A dust collector includes a dust collection container having an opening and containing dust, an inflow port which allows dust vacuumed from a suction port in a bottom portion of a vacuum cleaner to be flowed into the dust collection container with air, a filter part which allows the air having flowed into the dust collection container to be passed through itself to capture dust, and a cover part pivotably supported by the dust collection container with opening/closing allowed so as to cover the filter part and the opening of the dust collection container. The filter part is pivotably supported in the neighborhood of a pivot portion of the cover part in the dust collection container. A side with the inflow port located is inclined so that an upper portion of the inflow port is located more outside of the dust collection container than a lower portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
