PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite material which is obtained by combining an organic compound and an inorganic compound and is excellent in carrier transport properties, carrier injection properties into the organic compound, and transparency.SOLUTION: The composite material of an organic compound represented by the following general formula and an inorganic compound is used. As the inorganic compound, oxides of transition metals, preferably oxides of metals belonging to groups 4-8 in the periodic table, especially vanadium oxide, tantalum oxide, molybdenum oxide, tungsten oxide, rhenium oxide, and ruthenium oxide can be suitably used.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
