PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for operating a refrigeration system to refrigerate a product.SOLUTION: A first temperature of a refrigerant at a downstream side of a condenser 104 and an upstream side of an evaporator 112 may be obtained. A first pressure of the refrigerant at the downstream side of the condenser 104 and the upstream side of the evaporator 112 may be obtained. A second pressure of the refrigerant at a downstream side of the evaporator 112 and an upstream side of a compressor 124 and/or a temperature of a product being refrigerated may be obtained. A first valve 108, disposed between the condenser 104 and the evaporator 112, may be controlled based on the first temperature and the first pressure to maintain a predetermined cooling set-point for a refrigeration system. A second valve 120 of the refrigeration system, coupled to the compressor 124, may be controlled based on the second pressure or the temperature of the product to optimize a capacity of the compressor 124 of the refrigeration system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
