The present invention relates to a demagnetization apparatus which enables to adjust size in accordance with a thickness of a steel material, comprising: a first and a second demagnetizing unit which is provided with a coil and arranged spaced apart to allow the steel material to be inserted therein; a current supply unit which supplies current to the coil and removes magnetic properties of the steel material by generating magnetic force in the first and the second demagnetizing unit; and a adjusting unit which adjusts distance between the first and the second demagnetizing unit.
