PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for a rotary device which enables easy downsizing of the device and is detached/attached to be replaced in a short time.SOLUTION: A socket for a rotary device includes: a socket body 1 having a driving shaft part 12 in which a recessed groove part 11 is formed at the outer periphery side; a cylindrical adapter 2 which is formed so that the driving shaft part and an output shaft part 31 of a nut runner (a rotary device) 3 may be inserted thereinto facing each other; a lock member 22 which is stored in a side wall part 21, into which the driving shaft part of the cylindrical adapter is inserted, so as to move in a radial direction and protrudes from the inner periphery side of the side wall part to engage with the recessed groove part; and an annular operation member 23 which is elastically provided at the outer periphery side of the side wall part so as to move in an axial direction and restricts/allows the lock member from/to move in an engagement releasing direction. In the annular operation member, a lock member storage part 231, which allows movement of the lock member in the engagement releasing direction, is formed at a position that corresponds to the lock member when the annular operation member is moved in the axial direction. A biasing member 4, which biases the driving shaft part in a direction that the driving shaft part gets out from the cylindrical adapter, is attached to a space between the driving shaft part and the cylindrical adapter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
