A sleep aid apparatus and a sleep aid method, which are used for inducing a user to enter a sleep state. The sleep aid apparatus (100) comprises a breathing induction unit (12) and a control unit (14), the breathing induction unit (12) being used for providing sound, an image or an action, and the control unit (14) being connected to the breathing induction unit (12) and being used for controlling the breathing induction unit (12), so that the breathing induction unit (12) produces the sound, image or action having a predetermined breathing reference frequency. The predetermined breathing reference frequency contains a normative induction frequency and an enhanced induction frequency, the enhanced induction frequency being greater than or equal to 25 times/minute or less than or equal to 15 times/minute. The sleep aid apparatus makes it easy for a user to rapidly enter sleep. |
