<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jack connector that can make a mounting device compact and thinner by having a housing in which displacement of a connection terminal is not disturbed. <P>SOLUTION: A jack connector 1 comprises: an insulating housing 10 having a circular-column shaped fitting space 19 therein to accommodate a plug P; and a connection terminal to be fixed inside the insulating housing 10. The connection terminal includes a fix portion to be engaged with the housing 10; a connecting portion to be electrically connected to the plug P; and a lead portion to be mounted onto a base 100 by soldering. At a lower part of the housing where one semicircular arc of the fitting space 19 is formed, the fix portion and the lead portion are provided, and when two or more said connection terminals are provided, said connection terminals are aligned such that the fix portions are placed in the crosswise direction.
