PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker array device capable of localizing a sound image by a beam of sound, and further localizing a sound image corresponding to another channel in a desired direction.SOLUTION: A speaker array device 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention outputs audio signals of some channels (C, FL, FR, SBL, SBR) in respective directions as the beam of sound with directivity, and makes them reach a listener 200, and thereby a virtual speaker is formed. At this time, by mixing the audio signals so as to output sound according to the audio signals of remaining channels (SL, SR) in two directions among the respective directions, the sound image is localized in a direction different from the arriving direction of the beam of the sound to the listener 200, and phantoms, that is, virtual speakers, are formed. |
