摘要 Methods to form biocompatible energization elements, such as batteries for an electroactive contact lens, are described. In some examples, the methods involve forming cavities comprising active cathode chemistry by cutting a cavity in a a cathode spacer layer comprising a substrate film of insulating material and later placing a cathode slurry into said cavity. The active elements of the cathode and anode may later be sealed with a laminate stack of biocompatible material. In some examples, a field of use for the methods may include any biocompatible device or product that requires energization elements, such as an electroactive focal-adjusting contact lens.
