PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cook safely and easily by supplying steam into a heating chamber stably.SOLUTION: A heating cooker includes: steam generation means 13 for generating steam; a pump 15 for feeding water to the steam generation means; an attachable/detachable tank 14 for storing water; a first water supply pipeline 101; a second water supply pipeline 102; current detection means for detecting a current value flowing in the pump; and control means for driving the pump. The control means includes a memory for storing the current value detected at the current detection means, and stores the current value detected at the current detection means when the water is fed by the pump in the memory as a predetermined value for the existence of water. When the current value detected at the current detection means when the pump is driven is lower than the value stored in the memory, the control means determines that water does not exist in the tank. |
