<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately achieve rotation processing based on an erecting direction in comparison with such a case that the erecting direction is kept unsteady even when it is not possible to determine the erecting direction of read image data. <P>SOLUTION: An erecting direction determination part 41 determines the erecting direction (erecting angle) of image data read by an image reading part 31. When the image data are configured of a plurality of pages, and it is not possible to determine the erecting direction of the page where the image data are present by the erecting direction determination part 41, an erecting direction determination part 43 determines the erecting direction of the image data of the pertinent page on the basis of the determination result of the erecting direction with respect to any page other than the pertinent page stored in a determination result storage part 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
