摘要 The present invention relates to a method for removing shadow pixels in an adaptive image based on the background of the image. The method includes: a video image sequence step (S1); an RGB color image acquisition step (S2); a color input image acquisition step (S3); a black-and-white image acquisition step (S4); a background image generation step (S5); a dynamic image generation step (S6); a foreground image acquisition step (S7); a candidate shadow area detection step (S8); and a shadow area pixel removing step (S9). The present invention confirms that a drop in pixel brightness caused by the shadow is dependent on pixel brightness in the background area, and applies different threshold values for the respective pixels according to the background brightness to determine the shadow pixels, thereby increasing spatial and temporal adaptability compared to a conventional method applying a uniform shadow criteria for the entire pixels. When a certain pattern is present in the background, the present invention can easily apply local attributes of an image to determine the shadows pixels in the image.
