An applicator device, suitable for massaging and applying a cosmetic onto a human body, includes an applicator head 1 made from a ceramic or metal material, and a handle 2. The applicator head 1 includes a first end 11, a second end 12 opposite to the first end 11, a contoured surface 13 and a groove unit 16 disposed on the contoured surface 13. The groove unit 16 is designed to retain a cosmetic compound and includes a series of grooves 161which might have a depth of between 0.3 and 0.5 mm. The contoured surface 13 has two rounded portions 131, 132 with the curvature of one portion being larger than that of the other. In use, the applicator may be used to apply eye cream (3, figure 5), the contoured surface portions being used to apply the cream and massage the skin of the user. |
