<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and method for mounting an external member, capable of being easily adjusted and supported depending on the dimensional size of a solar battery panel etc. <P>SOLUTION: The structure for mounting the external member 1 is configured to fix a supporting member 2, in which a laterally-opened lateral adjusting groove and an upward-opened upper adjusting groove are provided in a longitudinal direction, to a mounting target surface, and also to mount the external member 1. In each of the adjusting grooves of the supporting member 2, a head of each of rod-like materials 2a and 2b is fitted and held to be freely slidable in the longitudinal direction. The first rod-like material 2a is adjusted to a desired position in the lateral adjusting groove, and tightened with a first tightening implement, so that the head of the first rod-like material 2a can be locked in the desired position in the lateral adjusting groove. The second rod-like material 2b is adjusted to a desired position in the upper adjusting groove, and tightened with a second tightening implement in a state in which a mounting implement 5 for mounting the external member 1 is mounted at the leading end of the second rod-like material 2b, so that the head of the second rod-like material 2b can be locked in a predetermined position in the upper adjusting groove. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
