According to an embodiment of the present invention, a solar cell comprises: a semiconductor substrate; a conductive area including first and second conductive areas located together on one surface of the semiconductor substrate; and an electrode including a first electrode connected to the first conductive area and a second electrode connected to the second conductive area. The electrode comprises: an electrode layer located on the conductive area; and a diffusion barrier layer located between the conductive area and the electrode layer. The diffusion barrier layer comprises a first material which is the same as a semiconductor material of the conductive area and a second material having conductivity.
