PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunction machine 100 configured to improve safety for a fixing heater and to be available until the end of the service life of a triac, thereby improving economical efficiency.SOLUTION: A multifunction machine 100 include: lifetime calculation means 403 which calculates lifetime of a triac 310 at the start of supplying power to a fixing heater 309; lifetime determination means 405 which determines, when a safe relay 313 cuts off power supplied to the fixing heater 309, whether the calculated lifetime of the triac 310 exceeds a preset lifetime; and safe relay control means 402 which keeps the safe relay 313 cutting off the power supplied to the fixing heater 309, even if power is supplied again, when the above determination indicates that the lifetime of the triac 310 has exceeded the set lifetime. |
