PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device capable of shortening a print processing time of a master machine or slave machine.SOLUTION: An image formation device includes: receiving means of receiving print data; image data generating means of generating image data for printing from print data received by the receiving means; analyzing means of analyzing the total amount of data sizes of odd-numbered pages of the image data generated by the image data generating means and the total amount of data sizes of even-numbered pages; and control means of transmitting the image data analyzed by the analyzing means to a first engine so as to make the first engine print on one surface of a form based upon image data larger in total amount of data sizes analyzed by the analyzing means between the odd-numbered pages and even-numbered pages, and transferring image data smaller rin total amount of data sizes from the first engine to a second engine so as to print on the other surface of the form having been printed by the first engine. |
