<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device capable of easily adding a power storage function to an existing photovoltaic power generation system. <P>SOLUTION: A power storage device 20 is connected between a solar cell 1 and a power conversion device 4. The power storage device 20 is charged with DC power supplied to the power conversion device 4 that is configured to convert the DC power from a DC power source such as a solar cell to AC power and overlap it to a power system, or the power storage device 20 discharges DC power to the power conversion device. When electric power required to charge the power storage device is smaller than the output power of the DC power source, the voltage required to start a charging operation of the power storage device is set lower than the DC power source voltage that is required for the power conversion device to start an overlapping operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
