PURPOSE:To correct blackening mechanically, accurately and quickly by calculating the set density when a test piece is processed with a standard developing soln. and the set density when it is processed with the developing soln. to be corrected, and replenishing a blackening replenisher or passing an exposed film. CONSTITUTION:The standard density N when a test piece is processed with a standard developing soln. is measured with a densitometer 5, and is set in a standard density setter 6. The blackening coeffts. K1, K2 of the equationsI, II are set in setters 7, 8. (T is the time when a replenishing means is held open, and A is the area of the exposed waste film). The density N' measured when said piece is treated with the developing soln. to be corrected is similarly set in a measured density setter 12. The control range P that requires no correction is set in a setter 9. Further, the equationsI, II are stored in multipliers 10, 11.
