Apparatus and method for the reception of broadcast data in circular and linear polarity data formats. The receiving apparatus includes processing means and waveguide 2 for receiving data signals in, where the waveguide 2 includes separate outlets leading to respective data paths 4, 6 for data received in each polarity. The data paths pass to the processing means, which allows passage to at least one broadcast receiver. At least one parameter relating to the data signals on the respective paths as they enter and pass along the processing means and/or at least one component of the processing means is checked and, if required, an operating parameter of at least one of the paths and/or component is adjusted, at the time of manufacture. The adjustment means may be a dielectric material 17 and can bring the data signals on the data paths into phase. |
