PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently measure temperature characteristics of optical equipment.SOLUTION: Before an ambient temperature of a first optical transceiver 5 reaches a third temperature from a first temperature, temperature characteristics of an optical transmission module are measured (temperature range A) in the state where an ambient temperature of a second optical transceiver 6 is maintained at the first temperature. Before the ambient temperature of the one optical transceiver 5 reaches a fourth temperature from a third temperature, temperature characteristics of an optical reception module are measured (temperature range B) in the state where the ambient temperature of the other optical transceiver 6 is maintained at the first temperature. Before the ambient temperature of the first optical transceiver 5 reaches the second temperature from the fourth temperature, a rate of change of the ambient temperature is controlled to be smaller than the rate of change of the ambient temperature before the ambient temperature reaches the third temperature from the first temperature (temperature range C). |
