<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component concentration monitoring method capable of continuously and constantly obtaining a change in component concentrations of a process liquid for use in an immobilization proces without producing an extra cost for titration reagent and disposal of a titration waste liquid, and quickly dealing with a concentration change of the process liquid in operation, and to provide a component concentration monitoring device using the method. <P>SOLUTION: A conductivity and a refractive index under a series of temperature conditions are measured to define each correlationship using a plurality of aqueous solutions formed by combining known concentrations of boric acid and potassium iodide. A practical temperature T, a practical conductivity σ, and a practical refractive index n of the process liquid subject to the monitor are measured. A concentration X of the boric acid and a concentration Y of the potassium iodide of the process liquid subject to the monitor are obtained from the values using the correlationship and predetermined expressions (1) and (2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
