Disclosed herein is a secondary battery pack including a battery cell having a cathode terminal and an anode terminal formed on one surface including a sealed portion to seal the battery cell and a protection circuit module (PCM) including a protection circuit board (PCB) having a protection circuit formed thereon, an external input and output terminal electrically connected to the protection circuit, a connector electrically connected to the external input and output terminal, and an electrically insulative PCM case in which the PCB is mounted, wherein the PCM is loaded on the sealed portion in a state in which the PCM is electrically co nnected to the battery cell and the connector is formed on the PCM such that the connector does not protrude outward from the secondary battery pack.
